How can I buy your art?
Yes.
It's for sale during brief moments throughout the year.
Sign-up to my mailing list to be the first to find out when.
What type of art do you do?
What I make ranges visually from project to project.
They tonally involve some sort of comedy. It's my favourite genre as it has the subtle power to bring people together, break social taboos, and offer new perspectives, and of course - make you laugh.
Surrealism is also a common tone. In a world full of process, order and instant answers, it slaps you in the face with bewilderment and nonsense.
What experience do you have?
In no particular order:
- Graduate of Contemporary Art Practice BA (Hons) from The University of Leeds.
- BAFTA-winning comedy writer for Cartoon Network. Other credits include E4, Disney XD, Lime Pictures, Comedy Central, Amazon Studios US.
- Crapping my pants on a bike in 2019.
- Viral video writer and creator for brands including Paddy Power, Alize, Eat The Chef, Alize, Captain Morgans, BKL, Bathstore, Future Games of London.
- Co-founder of NextUp - a stand-up comedy organisation that amplifies and supports live comedy.
- Scored a goal in every goal on Hackney marshes' 61 football pitches
- Co-creator of PLEB Talks - a comedy lecture series hosted by Nish Kumar and funded by Ideas Tap
Why should I buy this rubbish?!
Here are some reasons for and against, so you can make a fully informed decision:
❌ Reasons NOT to buy ❌
1. It's too cheap. Good art costs over £10k.
2. Owning original things is evil.
3. It's not sexually satisfying (presumably)
✅ Reasons to BUY ✅
1. Street cred (mainly amongst gangs)
2. Brag about 'Supporting The Arts'
3. Guaranteed six-pack abs.

So I'd have to say the BAFTA I won for comedy writing.

You really won a BAFTA?!
...this is embarrassing... yes I did.
Well - a Childrens' BAFTA.
Context:
I wrote a couple of seasons of The Amazing World of Gumball for Cartoon Network. I was part of a writer's room and one of our episodes won a BAFTA.
